Humble beginnings

Specnor Tecnic was officially founded in 1993. The small scale company started with the 3 founders working out of a modest industrial workshop in Delson, Quebec. With mostly North American customers, the company grew steadily and made it’s name in the electronic manufacturing industry.

New headquarters

After spending 7 years renting the same workshop, the company had to move to a bigger location due to it’s significant growth. Specnor decided to build a brand new facility in Saint-Hubert, Quebec to support the volume of production and to optimize their operations.

Winners of the SMT Vision Award

Specnor Tecnic is awarded the coveted SMT Vision Award in the category of Mass Soldering Equipment for its innovative Lead-Free Retrofit Kit. The Kit offers the ability to upgrade any existing wave soldering machine for lead-free operation in lieu of buying a new machine or replacing the entire solder pot wich is a breakthrough innovation.
